HausPlatz Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

Account information you provide (name, email, household name), the household content you create (calendar events, meals, groceries, chores, lists, reminders), and basic operational data required to run the service (authentication tokens managed by our authentication provider, timestamps, and error diagnostics).

2. How we use it

To operate HausPlatz for you and your household, to keep the service reliable and secure, to answer support requests you send us, and to communicate essential service information (verification emails, invitations, security notices).

3. What we don't do during beta

We do not sell your household content. We do not use household content to target advertising. We do not require a payment method during Public Beta.

4. Diagnostic data & error reporting

The application captures technical error information to help us fix bugs. If automated diagnostic reporting is expanded in the future, we will document what is collected, why it is collected, how long it is retained, whether it includes account identifiers, and how to opt out where applicable. Diagnostic consent will be handled separately from Beta Terms acceptance.

5. Children & minors

Household Owners are responsible for adding Child and Teen members. HausPlatz's current beta acknowledgement is not, by itself, a substitute for laws governing children's data and consent (for example, COPPA in the United States, or applicable regional equivalents). These requirements are flagged for legal review before general release.

6. Data retention & deletion

Household content is retained while your account and household are active. You can contact info@hausplatz.net to request account or household deletion during the beta.
